CMA CONFERENCE MAGAZINE
This magazine was designed for the College Media Association’s annual Media Arts Convention, serving as a comprehensive guide for attendees throughout the event. The publication brings together essential information including a detailed conference map, session panel schedules, featured speakers, and award highlights. It also introduces readers to the surrounding New York City area through local insights and demographic context, helping attendees better understand the environment hosting the convention.
The magazine functions as both a practical navigation tool and a snapshot of the college media landscape. Its layout prioritizes clarity and accessibility so attendees can quickly locate sessions, discover featured programming, and move through the conference experience seamlessly.
project journey
To create the magazine, I first organized all of the conference content into clear sections, including schedules, speaker features, awards, and local information. This helped establish a structure that would make the publication easy for attendees to navigate.
From there, I designed the layout system, choosing typography, grids, and page styles that kept the information clear and consistent throughout the magazine. I then built out the full set of pages, combining maps, schedules, and editorial content into a cohesive guide for the convention.
